Founded in 1966 as the industrial arm of Automotive Equipment Ltd, A.I.L has assembled andmanufactured to date some 90,000 vehicles of various types including busses, trucks, ambulances, command-cars, 4 x 4 jeeps (several operational versions) and other vehicles for military, private and commercial use.
The company assembles and manufactures a variety of 4 X 4 vehicles including the “Storm 3M-243”, “Abir M-462”, "AbirAmbulance”, the 6 X 6 “Desert Raider” Fast Attack Vehicle and trucks. Apart from these A.I.L also manufactures and assembles armored versions of these vehicles as well as an up-armored version of the Hummer ECV.
All these vehicles have been developed in close co-operation with the Israeli Defense Forces which are naturally A.I.L’s mostimportant customers. A.I.L’s products have also been sold to the armed forces of several other countries.
All vehicles are backed by a comprehensive logistic integrated support package, including spare parts, technical literatureandtraining.
In addition the company manufactures a variety of sophisticated metal works and assemblies for the Israeli hi-techindustry.
